BOT or ALIVE? - Pervasive Gaming: Offering for internships, bachelor and diploma theses
Wednesday, May 10th, 2006
Welt am Draht, MatrixI-III, Bladerunner, … just to name a few of the brilliant SF-blockbusters which we enjoyed in the movie theatres. We believe that the time is right to explore this genre a little bit further. Bringing the interplay and utopies about men and artificial agents into games and the real world.
Pervasive Games are currently studied at diverse research institutes all over the world. A very prominent european example is the IPerG project. Their website is packed with exciting examples, public deliverables, etc. A truly source of inspiration!
Inspired by IPerG’s findings and our current research on pervasive computing we are looking for excited and outstanding candidates to join our student team at DFKI. We offer a widespread area of topics and an excellent academic environment.
